Cafe Med Ristorante in Deerfield Beach

$30 for breakfast is a tad high. The service was acceptable. The view is top notch, amazing! We saw lots of people walking to the beach. There were an few birds hanging around stealing leftovers, jelly packets and Splenda! Our food came out quick and hot, but we found it lacking in flavor. My wife's meal came out with lox, which she ordered without. We'd go back, for that amazing view!

Horrible decision to change the menu! This is no longer an Italian eatery so they should change the name because it’s simply not true! This was our go to restaurant every single year when we come to SoFlo... I was saddened to come this time and see that the menu had changed from exceptional Italian food to tasteless Latin food. We still have it a shot and ordered 5 different dishes, none of which had any flavor. Will not be going back!!!

Cacio e Pepe was great and the chef was very friendly while cooking. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable. Tables bread and dips were delicious. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 dishes at our table had shrimp that was overcooked. A little disorganized at the beginning when being seated. Credit card was declined even though it had been accepted all day and bank later told me it was user error. Overall a little pricey for what it was.

Excellent food and great service. A must stop when going to Deerfield. Good ambiance and great for crowds. Good place to book for wedding parties/ parties/dates/solo dinners. View of the ocean Nd good food is all u need.

Worst restaurant experience, hostess has no clue what she is doing, had to wait 10 minute just for her to show up from out of the kitchen, we simply wanted to sit outside and all the tables open outside, she said give me a few minutes. A few minutes for what? She then left and came back saying that we can’t, she once again left to split apart a giant table and sat us there, waiting for another 10 minutes to no one even greeting us. If you want to go to a restaurant where there is no service and to sit around this is the one, they will make sure you never talk to a server and don’t get your food! What a Merry Christmas from Cafe Med, had better service at my local McDonald’s.

Amazing for a dinner reception. Really good quality food. But for breakfast the next morning we waited for 20 minutes for a server and then almost 40 minutes just for eggs. Everything just took a very long time to actually come and the staff seemed really confused. And they everything came out cold and dried out.....

The views are amazing. Right on the beach. The food needs some work but the staff, especially Carter makes up for it. She is wonderful.

We walked in at 9pm Thursday to get some coffee, noticed they were closing at 10pm so we figured why not. After standing at the door for a few minutes we yelled “Hellllloooo?”...nothing... so we walked around to the “Burger Craze” side to find two workers chatting it up at the bar. “Can we help you?” Yes... actually... we came to get someCoffee. One of the workers looked at the other in despair. The other coworker rolled their eyes. “One sec “ they both disappeared into the back. A few seconds later emerged “sorry no can do”. Alrighty then- thanks for the great customer service!!!!! NOT

Terrible. Worst decision ever made to change great italian food to poor and limited Latin American food. 5 tables walked out after looking at the menu and we should have to. This change in food was done with no notice. We were shocked not having been told when making reservations. Several other tables said they would not be back. Neither will we. I would have given no stars but gave one for the great staff.the chef, manager and waitress tried their best to make a bad evening better. I am so sorry to say good bye to one of my favorite restaurants.

No longer a fine Italian restaurant. Now a limited poor Spanish menu. Four other tables walked out. Website not changed. Never going back.

The worst service, after 20 minutos waiting, no menus, no water, we asked to split our checks before order, and the lady in the worst tone didn’t agree to do it , and we told her if she can’t do it so we have to leave, and she said “so, you can go” But by surprise we spoke with the manager and she was agree to do it that way... but at the moment we just decided to leaveI recommend Flanigans next to, wonderful service and good food!!!

Kristen the bartender was delightful, and waitress Carter was super nice. food was good. pasta with sausage and mushrooms and peas in ala vodka sauce was best.

Went early on a Saturday for breakfast. Nice breakfast menu, bottomless coffee while watching people walk / run by on the Rec path next to the beach - great views from the patio!

Forget the other reviews. This restaurant is wonderful. Great food, attentive service and beautiful entertainment. Remember that good food takes time, so be patient! The singer/songwriter (Renan Nerone) on Tuesday through Friday is the best. (Check him out on YouTube).

The pasta was AMAZING. The veal was good but nothing too wow. And the dessert was really good as well. The portions were pretty big and the prices, even though a bit pricy, weren’t as bad as some other places. Service was very good as well and you can’t beat the location. Will definitely stop by again next time we’re in town.

I had read about this restaurant years ago when it was opened by the BICE group. Now I understand it is now owned by the Wynham hotel where it is located. We were staying in a hotel down the street and decide to try Cafe Med.There were having a wedding inside so we sat on patio. Started with a complementary bread with 3 dips, kalamata olive, chimichurri , and roasted red pepper.For appetizer, I had a burrata with Prosciutto, tomato, and arugula. I twas very good.For mains, i ordered the Spaghetti alla Diavola, Baby Octopus, Little Neck Clams, Mussels, Calamari & Shrimp, and Marinara Sauce over spaghetti. Unfortunately it came out without any shrimp or octopus which they brought out .Just fair.My wife ordered the Chicken Vesuvio,Chicago Style Bone in Chicken Baked with Garlic, Rosemary, Lemon, Fresh Peas & Roasted Potatoes. She was told it was white meat which it wasn't. So they brought out white meat chicken, also just fair.

came in on 12/07 for lunch with my sister and friend, honestly what a great place for lunch with these two picky eaters, everything was well made and tastes every ingredient. service could be better but I would rather have great food, we will be coming back!

The view and service was great. The bread was amazing! The pastas were good, but I felt the entrees were all under seasoned. It's one thing to keep it classical, but I can't give Cafe Med 5 stars because of that.

Worst experience... for taking order it took 40 minutes although caffe is almost empty but every one seems to be busy .. don’t know how long it will come to get main course . Got the drink after 40 minutes . Not recommendable .. and pricy .

85 degrees, sunny and a perfect beach day. It’s 10am and they don’t have bread for French toast. The food takes 40 min when there’s only 5 tables eating. My cappuccino is already cold because the server brought it when I first got there, 40 min before the food. The server Diana was also really rude...

Commenting on the gelato stand here rather than the Italian restaurant. The gelato was top notch - the pistachio was the correct color and tasted right (not too sweet), and vanilla Nutella was creamy and the cherry was excellent. The bacio was decadent too. I’ll definitely be back here soon!

Food was great and view was great.. and that was it. Got up to get my own silverware, waters, had to ask other waiters for service. Brought us the wrong receipt (we thought they discounted for poor service, nope.) and then lost our credit card. Food took a while to come but didn’t mind because it’s such a beautiful view. Another table near us left because of the bad service and the table behind us complained loudly. Not quite sure if it was a staffing issue or a specific person. We’re pretty laid back and don’t expect much but never had service quite this bad.

We had a party of six that ate breakfast at Cafe Med, on certain days the cross wind in the restaurant is ridiculous due to the ocean breeze and their fans. The service was not that good. I ordered the sunrise and my eggs and potato’s came out cold, my wife ordered a bottle of pelagrino water that took twenty minutes because they had to go across the street for it, and my wife never received her correct toast. But the manager was nice enough to take 25% off our bill.

We had a great experience. We sat outside listening to live music. Had great service and food.

Service was slow, portions were small, expect to head to the refrigerator when you get home.the views and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. And the prices are what you would expect as you get closer to the prime real estate near the ocean.

The food was fantastic. Just happened upon this place, we will be back. I really liked the singer too.
